AATCC is headquartered in Research Triangle Park, N.C., USA, providing test method development, quality control materials, and professional networking for thousands of members in 60 countries throughout the world.
These goals are achieved through the activities of our three interest groups - Chemical Applications, Concept 2 Consumer®, and Materials - by our Committee and Section activities, and through our award-winning magazine and peer-reviewed journal,AATCC Review.

ASTM International

Textile Standards ASTM International is one of the largest voluntary standards development organizations in the world-a trusted source for technical standards for materials, products, systems, and services. Known for their high technical quality and market relevancy, ASTM International standards have an important role in the information infrastructure that guides design, manufacturing and trade in the global economy. Committee D13 ASTM Committee D13 on Textiles was formed in 1914. D13 meets twice a year, in January and June, with approximately 100 members attending three days of technical meetings. The Committee has 535 members and currently has jurisdiction of 339 standards, published in the Annual Book of ASTM Standards, Volumes 7.01 and 7.02.

In addition design and deliver tailor made programs and deliver lectures. Love to drive in search of desolate and exotic locations, where the air is clean , water in pure and nature is still natural. Ironically I Love gadgets and gizmo's and experimenting with new hardware and software. Life is not perfect , but it is interesting. Imperfections make life worth living. A perfect system is no challenge to the body , mind and soul.

AATCC Membership Services

AATCC Establishes Member Support Services for South and Southeast Asia

Research Triangle Park, N.C., July xx, 2008—The American Association of Textile Chemists & Colorists (AATCC) has established local membership support services for its members in south and southeast Asia by entering an agreement with E and T Textile Resources (E&T), based in Chennai ( Madras), India.

E&T will communicate with AATCC members, customers and prospects on AATCC’s behalf as AATCC Membership Services Associates, concentrating on membership support and development in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam.

AATCC Membership Services Associates’ principal is Jayakumar Gopalakrishnan. He has been an AATCC member since 1997 and is currently serving a second term as the AATCC International Region board member. His background has been in technical resources and customer services management. An active participant in AATCC research and administrative committees, Gopalakrishnan has conducted many AATCC technical training programs and was instrumental in establishing the first two AATCC sections outside the US, in Mumbai, India and Tirupur, India.

“Now we’re better able to answer general inquiries and provide more timely responses about AATCC membership and member benefits in an world area where we’re continually gaining individual and corporate members,” says John Y. Daniels, AATCC Executive Vice President.

E&T is an organization that provides technical resources, advisory services, consultancy, and training to those involved in textile production, processing, testing, and product development. It also provides maintenance and calibration of instruments and machinery.

headquarters to gain new memberships and renewals. They provide excellent member and customer services, represent the association and promote AATCC in business and industry.”
